4th Boxmoor (St Mary & St Joseph) Scout Group

General Information on 4th Boxmoor

Founded over 40 years ago, 4th Boxmoor is the only official Roman Catholic Group in the Hemel Hempstead District and is sponsored by the Church to which it has strong links.  You may have seen us parading at the 9am Mass on the second Sunday of each month.  Our Group Colours bear the Church’s name with pride and honour and we wear the Cairo Badge on our yellow and white scarves as our Group Identity Badge.

The Group is split into three sections, based on age, and all sections meet on a weekly basis in the Parish Centre.  The activities on offer are tailored to the ages and abilities of each section and, as members move through the Group over a number of years, it is very clear to see the positive effects made to their lives as a result of their involvement with the nation’s largest youth movement.
